Would customers please note that the swimming pools will be closed between Monday 21st of May and Friday 25th of May inclusive, for maintenance & servicing of the flumes.

The Pyramids Centre Portsmouth

Pyramids Centre Opening Times

The Pyramids Centre is open everyday of the year excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. Below are the general opening times for each area of the centre.

Fun Pools Banding System

Tickets for Pyramids swim are for a minimum of two hours as published on our website. The band system has been introduced this summer to attempt to cope with the rising popularity of the pools and thus allow access for as many of our customers as possible. This is in line with our objectives of a community benefit company and social enterprise.

Last year in peak times we were regularly turning visitors away as the pools were at capacity and we could not allow any other visitors in. This was not good for our visitors to Portsmouth or indeed our local community. Therefore this year we have attempted to accommodate everyone.

A visit to the Pyramids Pools is the equivalent to £2 per hour for a junior and £2.50 per hour for an Adult representing great value for money. This is even better for PCC leisure card holders and Pyramids Card holders which attract a further discount.

We appreciate that there have been some teething problems with the introduction of the band system and we are working as fast as we can to overcome these and improve the system during which time we ask for you cooperation. If you have not received a minimum of a two hour swim on your visit then please ask for the Duty Manager at the time of your visit.
